The 5-inch pieced top and bottom borders are intricately built with a 1.5-inch grey upper section, a 2=inch middle grey coral piece, and a 1.5-inch grey lower section, while the side borders highlight vibrant ocean creatures on a crisp white background framed by a 1.5-inch outer border. A beautiful grey-speckled brown fabric is used for all sashing and borders, with every edge crisply defined by a detailed blanket stitch, and the secure binding is finished with a custom decorative quilting stitch. The entire quilt is beautifully bound together using a hand-guided, edge-to-edge overall free-motion quilting design (completely free motion and not computer-generated), and the reverse features a unique three-panel backing with a grey-and-white center section flanked by two clean white side sections.
